Sorensen's in Ghana: Praso Conferences

Out week started out with a broken windshield, a can of bug spray left on the dashboard after the elders cleaned the truck exploded in the heat of the sun. Elder Sorensen is wiping the bug spray of the windshield so he can go to Kenkuase.

The windshield was broken in many places.

After district conference Sister Elisabeth (center) come to me and showed me that see had her temple recommend. She had a large smile and was so excited but she would not smile for the photo. The sister on the right is a newly baptised member in the Hermang Branch who I have become friends with.

This is Lucy, she is from the Kenkuase branch, she is very shy and sometimes will not talk to Elder Sorensen. She is taking the missionary lesson so she can be baptised.

The children of the Nuamakrom branch have their lunch and are eating they have rice and an egg. Some share a bowl. It is the custom to eat with your fingers.

Elder Sorensen was taking a picture of the young man on the right. He is deaf. He is a new member of the Nuamakrom Branch and Elder Sorensen has become a good friend. The man on the left is telling Elder Sorensen that the ladies on the left want their picture taken.

These ladies visit with Sister Sorensen every time we are to meeting together. They have a wonderful spirit about them, they wish Sister Sorensen a Happy Mothers day.

The elders are waiting for food.

This is Sister Johnson wife of District President Brigham Johnson. Every district conference she fixes food for the Mission President and his counselors and wifes. The food is wonderful.
